Math Basic Equations (5th-8th)

Mathematics is an effective way of building mental discipline and encouraging logical reasoning and mental rigor in youth. Math knowledge plays a crucial role in understanding the contents of other school subjects such as science, social studies, and even music and art.

Encouraging findings suggest that low achievers can make substantial gains in mathematics if they receive relatively cost-effective small group tutoring. This supports the belief that long standing inequalities in math achievement can be overcome.

SUPPLIES AND EQUIPMENT:

For all classes, supplies and equipment are provided unless stated.  We have a very limited number of computers available. They are loaned out on a first come, first serve basis. Please inform coordinator if you will need technology.  You may also bring personal laptop or tablet for personal use to ensure you have the equipment you need.  Please arrive 10 minutes early for preparation of equipment.
